ERROR CARD OF THE WEEK 1/17/10 (1980 Topps Graig Nettles)

Hello all. Error card of the week is back! We have been looking at more popular errors/variations so far. This week we look at a very obsure error/variation. Some will argue that it isn't an error at all. I am sure there will be comments in this thread about this card being a print flaw, but the line is thin where variations/error are validated. This card is from a popluar set 1980 topps of Graig Nettles. It has No Position on front and some ink blur. It looks like it the printing missed its mark, but no position is found printed anywhere on the card.

    Man, the card companies really had it in for poor old Greg. 1980 Topps and then in 1981 Fleer misspells his name "Craig."

    Interesting error, never saw that before. Always thought his name was Craig, learn something new everyday!

    Wonder if he as a pain to deal with to get a contract signed with the card companies, and this is how they paid him back.
