Vikings would be around a 4 1/2 point favorite.

The Vikings should be glad that the Chiefs had Carl Peterson for a GM. Who else would give away Jared Allen. I'll bet JA is crying all the way to the bank on this one. And he gave up on Tony Richardson too.

If the Vikings make it to the Superbowl, they would have a chance to either:

1. win and get the Monkey off of their backs after going 0-4 in prior appearances; or

2. lose and become the first team to go 0-5 in the Superbowl (Buffalo is 0-4; and Denver was 0-4 before winning the 1998 and the 1999 Superbowls to improve to 2-4).
