Hello,
Does anyone collect them, or is it only myself image
Would love to find someone on the forum that has interest in the series.

I have a few Israel commem silver and gold pieces....but do not actively collect..
I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

I know this doesn't constitute Israel coin collecting
    but
I've been trying to add a gold 1960 20 Lirot to my collection for years ...... unfortunately can never find the right grade and price combo I'm looking for image

Used too many years ago - not much overall interest - unsure why - many of the silver issues are really nice and modern looking...but personally I like the early issues like the 25 Mil and the few ancient motif ones from the '50's.

If anyone has BU grade material for the years 1948-1957 for sale/trade, I am highly interested.

Have a 2 sets (proof and unc) of commems thru 1970 or so, a fair number of the large AE and AR medals, an early type set, etc. I really like the first 25 years of the series, and continue to pick up the odd bargain now and again, but haven't really seriously tried to put together a collection. Great designs and lots of history at a really modest price - what a deal.

Nice set! Very fun to look at. My favorite Israeli coins are these early, simple designs. Thank you for sharing!
