NEWP - 1706 taler from German State of Munster

This arrived today and I am real happy with the way it turned out. The piece was struck to commemorate the death of Frederick Christian of Plettenberg, the Bishop of Münster from 1685 - 1706. Munster was an ecclesiastical principality in the Holy Roman Empire, located in western Lower Saxony. The Diocese of Münster was founded by Charlemagne towards the end of the Saxon War about 795, as a suffragan of Cologne.

I would not consider this piece to be rare, but it has been a challenge to find it in an uncleaned state with strong details on the reverse cathedral. Many pieces that I see suffer from weak strikes.
