I have a total of 111 auctions on eBay this weekend. This week's auctions close on Sunday, January 17, 2010 and include the following:
1977 Detroit Caesars Discs:
22 – 1977 Detroit Caesars Discs in PSA 9 and 10. This is a tough issue! Even though I'm running some PSA 9's, in most cases these are the highest graded examples and have populations less than three. In many cases, I'm running 1 of 1's or 1 of 2's. Don't be fooled just because they are discs and think they are easy. The stars include Johnny Bench (Reds/HOF), Brooks Robinson (Orioles/HOF), Steve Carlton (Phillies/HOF), Jim Palmer (Orioles/HOF). GEM MINT 10's include Buddy Bell (Indians 1/4), Ralph Garr (White Sox 1/3), Bill Madlock (Giants 1/4), and John Mayberry (Royals 1/2). If you are a player collector, don’t miss out on these!
Topps Cards:
1 – 1977 Topps #159 Bernie Carbo (Brewers) in PSA 9.
1 – 1978 Topps #97 Stan Bahnsen (Expos) in PSA 9.
44 – 1979 Topps in PSA 8, PSA 9, and PSA 10. This is the last week where I will be breaking a set that was over 42% complete with a 9.16 GPA. Up for auction this week are a few tougher PSA 9’s and some stars such such as #670 Jim "Catfish" Hunter - Yankees/HOF, #680 Carlton Fisk - Red Sox/HOF, and #700 Reggie Jackson - Yankees/HOF. In addition, there are five PSA 10's including #572 Rod Gilbreath (Braves), #579 Greg Gross (Cubs), #671 Joe Ferguson (Dodgers), #679 Derrel Thomas (Padres), #682 Dave Chalk (Angels 1/5), #701 Orioles Prospects (1/5), #703 Angels Prospects (1/6), #705 Indians Prospects, #707 Royals Prospects, #708 Brewers Prospects, #712 Mariners Prospects, #716 Cubs Propects (1/3), and #725 Padres Prospects.
43 – 1981 Topps in PSA 8, PSA 9, and PSA 10. Up for auction this week are a few tough PSA 9's such #82 Astros Future Stars (1/6), #124 Jerry Garvin (Blue Jays - 1/6), and #433 Rance Mulliniks (Royals - 1/8). In addition, there is one PSA 10 (#677 Reds Team) and a few star/better cards such as three Leaders Cards, #150 Mark Fidrych (Tigers), #254 Ozzie Smith (Padres/HOF), #479 Time Raines Rookie Card, five team cards, and #700 George Brett (Royals/HOF).
