So what is the explaination of a N1?
N = Not graded
1 = the lowest grade possible
If you send in a coin and it is "Cleaned, Tooled, Whizzed, Re-colored, etc..." but it's a genuine coin, you can get it slabbed.
Because these coins fit into a registry, they are given an N1 designation.
