condition opinions please... 1954 Topps

I picked this up about 3 minutes ago... Seller has great feedback, many claiming the card was in better condition than expected. He claims... Card has sharp color and gloss. Corners show little to no touches of wear. Back surface is very clean. I guess my only concern is the centering... is this out of the realm of PSA 7 (70/30) centering?

Opinions please...

    Hi Robbie,

    Looks O/C to me.

    A PSA NM 7 is a card with just a slight surface wear visible upon close inspection. There may be slight fraying on some corners. Picture focus may be slightly out-of-register. A minor printing blemish is acceptable. Slight wax staining is acceptable on the back of the card only. Most of the original gloss is retained. Centering must be approximately 70/30 to 75/25 or better on the front and 90/10 or better on the back.

    Tommy looks like he lost some weight either on the top or bottom. I think it might be trimmed.

    measures the same across top and bottom = Houston we have a TILT

    I am nervous about the top border....inconsistent cut all the way across. Could be the scanner.

    that top edge does seem to be crisper than the other 3 so it could be trimmed. I actually didn't expect to win the card, i figured it would go over $100 and I'd be out... he does offer money back guarentee so i'll take a look at it when it gets here and make the call then.

    thanks guys for all your opinions... this really does help. If I was able to get a PSA 7 with no quailifiers, then i'd be happy but it sounds like that's just out of reach. (assuming it's not trimmed)

    The OC has also taken part of the glove -- can that result in an MC qualifier?

    Otherwise a very sharp card IMO

    I measure it, at it's worst point, just slightly better than 75/25. Picture makes it look like the top may be trimmed ... may not look that way in hand. With that being said, it is really one nice looking card. (If you are OK with the centering.)

    Great color on the card. Could be me, but it looks trimmed.
