really looking forward to the day.....

.....when e***b (161) completes his 1978 Topps set, so he will stop outbidding me on damn near EVERY PSA 9 '78 Topps card auction I try to win. Yet another silver medal to hang in the trophy case tonight.
Thanks for listening.

<< <i>he's thinking he wishes you would stop driving up the price on those 78 topps!!!! >>
This has occurred to me as this same scenario keeps playing out over and over and over and over again. He probably could buy himself something pretty nice right now with all the extra money he'd have if I weren't around to meddle in his affairs.
I am glad that he had to pay all that extra money. I'm not proud of the fact that I feel that way, but here we are.
Plus I took him down on a PSA 9 Vern Ruhle about a month ago. Take that!!!

I just can't find myself fighting it out over graded cards for a registery.. I guess I'm the type that will let others fight it out untill the smoke clears then pick up what I need at a lower price, Then again I've never been in a hurry to complete a set etc..
