Question about the Chicago Sun Times Show

I was thinking about taking my son to this show in March, Amtrak from Cleveland, but want to make sure it is worth the trip (besides the bonding time with my 14 year old). Is it comparable to the National show? Close?

Tough call....lately the shows have been hit or miss. The shows at Rosemont are generally better than in Schaumburg. However, I would say that even at Rosemont, there can be duds. Also, Cubs and Sox aren't playing yet, so there's not much else going on in town. It can be somewhat miserable if no early spring has set in.

The good news is, Rosemont is easily accessible by the the EL train from downtown.

Isn't the National in Chicago this year? Maybe wait for that?

Nice autograph lineup. I may get all the Heisman winners there on a program that I just got. Also wouldn't mind getting Ditka on my rookie card, but $70 is a LOT

Nope...it's in Baltimore this year.

Those Sun Times shows are really hit and miss like he said. The last few I've been attendence and tables were down. The National though was a pretty good time the last one in Rosemont. I'd recommend that for sure.

In my opinion the Sun-Times card show is like a 1/4 of a National. Maybe slightly less. I've attended every one since 1989. So 20 years x 2 = 40 shows.

They do have a lot of great auto guests if you're into that stuff. For cards, it doesn't compare to the National.

Not up yet apparently. I was disappointed. I started a Heisman winners program and last year's prices were good!
