Can anyone tell me the diagnostic clues between the TI, TII, and TIII 1972 IKE$'s.
I know it has been gone over before but I can't find the thread.

The easiest is to look at the reverse globe, the islands of what would be Cuba & Hispanola and compare them to the 1971p Ike (Type I), 1971s Silver Proof Ike (Type II) and 1973p or later Ike (Type III).
If you have those extra Ikes, the comparison will make it easier, if not, here are more details ...
If the islands of Cuba & Hispanola are to the right of the Florida peninsula, Type I, if the islands are underneath and to the left, Type III. If you cannot make the islands out and they look incused (like a blob) Type II.
Hope this helps,
Chris
I love Ike dollars and all other dollar series !!!
I also love Major Circulation Strike Type Sets, clad Washingtons ('65 to '98) and key date coins !!!!!
If ignorance is bliss, shouldn't we have more happy people ??
