Additional update: J-2060 1c NGC MS-61 just received CAC sticker J-2060 1c NGC MS-67 failed CAC.
I had already complained to Mark Salzberg after the NGC FUN luncheon that the NGC MS-67 did not deserve the 67 grade. This was three months before I submitted it to CAC already expecting it to fail. But then this was the whole point of putting together a mint state grading set!
What do each of the three major services list as slabable patterns for 1942?

There has been some confusion between NGC and PCGS as to their grades. One service grades the 1942 pattern as MS the other PR. Now PCGS has shifted to SP. It was a logical move but I am terribly confused. I have not even included ANACS in this reply.
Any chance of getting this thread rebuilt with the pictures put back in? I was trying to see the population of the 1942 "Wide Rim" cent patterns and I can't remember their Judd number.

It killed me $$ wise as this LOWEST graded Of them all turned out to be the MOST expensive of them all!!!!!

Question ... didn't an MS67 specimen of this coin sell for thousands of dollar less just a few months ago at FUN? Or, was that a different coin?
Wondercoin

Since 2014 NGC flew over the top into space and slabbed a few NGC MS-68. Will NGC stop at MS-71?
