I love both of these coins and happy to have them in my registry.
The first is an 1855 Victoria farthing-PCGS MS65 BN-that I just received from Jeff, and thanks.
This coin is deep chocolate and has some very nice pink and blue toning. But for the life of me I can't
bring that out shooting through the holder.

The next is an 1806 George 111 Proof farthing-NGC PF 64 BN- that I removed from the holder since
I'm sending it to PCGS. I may lose a point but, frankly, I would probably lose it anyway in a cross
since I usually do; particularly because the holder is pretty scratched up,since it's virtually impossible
to get a good view of it and, like all the TPG houses I'm pretty sure it would be subjected to "holder bias".
The coin is out of focus in places because I chose to tilt it to bring out the color; only way I know how to do it.
In that regard I understand the comment that Theodore Roosevelt made when a reporter asked him why he
couldn't better control his daughter Alice who was sighted shooting the glass conductors off electric poles
from the back platform of his campaign train.
He said: "Look, I can run the country or I can run Alice. I don't think there's a person alive who could do both"...:+)
I can get the coin in focus or I can bring out the color but I can't do both. Yes, I'm aware that others can
but it just seems to be beyond me...

Nice bits.
I demoted it because it wouldn't let me show the colors
