This game is huge, the most interesting matchup this weekend.

The Eagles will be looking for revenge after that embarassing loss last weekend, Wade Phillips job
is probably on the line along with the reputations of McNabb and Romo.

Cowboys fan really, "seriously" ticked me off for bumping that other jinx thread - just for that I'm gonna do everything in my power to see that this thread winds up with more posts than that bad, really really bad thread.

wow...complete domination....it's clear after 6 quarters now that Philly doesn't belong on the same field as the Cowboys.

Congrats to the Dallas Cowboys and their fans on the playoff win - you are clearly the better football team over this Eagles team and it's not even close.

Very disappointing effort by the Eagles, but they are a young team...and young players need to learn that it's a "faster" game in the playoffs and they need to step up their play...which they clearly didn't do tonight.

Good luck to the Cowboys the rest of the way.

Well, a play here and a play there..... the interception you didn't get was huge. The correct call, but still huge.

Eagles are a bad football team right now...they look nothing like the team I watched earlier this season. Guess 'Boys fans will be getting used to Wade Phillips.image

Nope...obviously no excuses for this game. It was a rout.

Will be an interesting off season for the Eagles, but they've got the second youngest team in the NFL so while I'm very disappointed, I remain optimistic and optimism is all the f* I've got right now...I'd rather have a Super Bowl ring. image

There is soooooo much I could say about MC Barf, but everyone saw the game.

He is sooooooooooo classless. If he was a tenth as good as he thinks he is..............he would be average!

I loved the little dance he did coming onto the field and the flop he did trying to get a ruffing call was "priceless" You could read the ref's lips "come on...get serious".

    What a loser!!!!!!

McNabb had nothing to do with that swiss cheese unit the Eagles called a defense out there tonight.

One thing I've noticed about this Eagles D this season is they place too much emphasis on stripping the ball when the emphasis needs to be on tackling first, and then if the opportunity presents itself ya go for the strip...Jimmy Johnson wouldn't have a D like that and his coaching presence is sorely missed, especially his ability to adapt to ever changing circumstances during a game.

But sadly, I'm not gonna disagree with the McNabb comments...after many years it's time to face the fact that in big games that are close, he gets that look in his eyes like a deer gets from staring into the headlights of an oncoming car. It's just happened too many times to ignore it.

I think the D has just lost the edge, whether it's Johnson, Dawkins or what. When you're an aggressive, pressure defense and teams stop flinching at it and start taking advantage of your aggressiveness, you're toast, which is why I didn't fear the blitzing tonight, and also why I think the Eagles didn't blitz as much last week. I think they know they're not getting the pressure they were.

I thought about Dawkins tonight...the Eagles sure coulda used him in there. Really hate to say this but I had to "like" from a football standpoint the hit that Cowboys D-back put on Celek early in the game even though it cost the Cowboys 15 - the Eagles used to do that, and Dawkins used to do that and he usually got away with it...and frankly, the Eagles got outmuscled out there which isn't what Eagles football is all about. Coaches who forget this is a violent game, usually don't succeed in the NFL.

Good observation there. Eagles may have missed Johnson as much as the Giants missed Spagnuolo this season in that regard..

I have never liked McBarf, but then I don't like the eaglets. I thought it ironic that Vick came in for ONE play and got a TD, while McBarf was 1 for 15 for 2 yds. Something like that.

To me he is a classless jerk who should be watching the game at home while Vick is out there playing.

It will be interesting how we do at Minn. But my year was made beating the eaglets 3 times this year and they were all soundly

I thought it was a bit more the "revolving door" offensive line, but both lines play wasn't good.

Just 'cause the guy won more playoff games than Romo or the Cowboys have SEEN in the last 20 years... jealous much? and yeah, it's because of him, for the majority of his career it's been just him, with no WR help at all..

THAT BEING SAID, the Cowboys were playing at a different speed than the Eagles the last 2 weeks, obviously super-hungry, in every aspect of the game... Congrats on ending the 13? year drought, it must be a big relief to finally advance past the first round let alone make the playoffs.

Cowboys are just as good as anyone left, and arguably the HOTTEST team in the NFL playoffs. Looking forward to some good football coming up!

Umm, you were making a good poit except for the "20 years" part. Go back twenty years and that includes THREE Super Bowl Rings for the Cowboys.

Last time I checked the Cowbotys had 5 of those big silver trophies with the football on top nestled neatly in the trohpy case....

May sound wierd coming from a Dallas fan but I am hoping that both the Eagles & Giants bounce back next year....it's just better when all three (DAL, PHI, NYG) are playing at a high level
