German silver 1880 G 1 Mark

I have come across a 1880 G, Silver German one (1) mark coin... looks to be in very fine condition. I am seeing a very low mintage. Can anyone tell me anything more about this?

    bloodhound1,
Yes, I agree. Difficult to tell from the pic but my guess would be somewhere between 35-45.
Not sure why the low mintage numbers in German Kleinmuenzen during the late 1870's- early 1880's. Slow economy is probably the culprit and it is also very difficult to find coins from this period in high grade, hence the extremely high prices.
If you do send it in for grading, please keep us informed of the results.
    Best,
    Jim
