Charlie Weis has a new job

Offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bears also tried to get him for the job but KC won out.

With the huge payoff from ND he probably didn't have to work but if you enjoy football why not?

    i would have liked to see him with a better set of players, clev. but i hope he does fine i think he will. he knows pro offense

    that dude by far gained the most by the CHEATING by the PATS....he made millions because he cheated better in the NFL than anyone else..



    anyone notice that the patriots stink since SPYGATE? well not stink, but VERY BEATABLE now!@!!!!!

    coincidence? i think not

    Their key players are also getting older or being let go via trade/free agency. Compared to a team that went 18-0, yes, they have fallen off, but do you seriously expect them, or any team for that matter, to continue at that pace?

    And let's not forget that "Spygate" came early on in their near-perfect season, so that argument holds little water.

    Really, caramel?

    Spygate broke after Game 1 of the 2007 season...they proceeded to rip off 17 straight wins in extroadinary fashion....then they go 11-5 with a QB that never played college football....this year they are 10-6 with a team that has been riddled by injuries, and is admittedly getting older in certain places and on the flipside, VERY young and inexperienced in other areas.

    Weis failed at ND because he couldn't recruit, particularly on the defensive side of the ball...the guy knows offensive football, he'll do fine in KC, once they get another piece or two for that offense.
