Bought my first copy of Krause World Coins..... need a reality check about a New Zealand 3d silver.

So I'm going through some old stuff and look up an unc 1941 3p from New Zealand, It's a solid unc....
KM#7, and see that it lists for 200 in unc and 400 in BU.
Can I be excited or is reality more like the 5 or 6 dollars I've been trying unsucessfully to sell this thing for?

2.00 20.00 70.00 200 400 for the 1941
the 1942 with 1 dot are:
4.00 60.00 200 400 600
I find it hard to belive based on the mintage and previous book values.
The 1941 threepence has apparently always been scarcer than the Krause figures indicated. However, I think the "new" figures are wildly optimistic. Apart from one seller over on TradeMe who's quoting the latest Krause CV (and not managing to sell at that price), most sellers of these things there and on eBay in the Fine-VF range are going for NZ$20-$35 (= US$15-25).
Hypothesis: the slightly low numbers were noticed and scheduled for adjustment, but whoever did the adjusting made an error and adjusted them too high.
Some drastic price errors in Krause can persist for quite a while. Example - perhaps someone with a latest Krause book or NumisMaster price access can answer this one: Have they finally gotten around to correcting the value for the Australian 2000 Victoria Cross dollar (KM# 493)? Every Krause I've ever looked in has listed them at $5.50 (their issue price was $5); my 2006 edition does. But ever since the Mint sold out of them in mid-2000, these things have been selling for crazy money; $200 is a minimum. Current CV for it in the Maccas guidebook is AU$295 (=US$270).
DNADave: if you're looking for the abbreviated name for them on eBay and elsewhere, try "3d" instead of "3p".

Apparently I have been awarded the DPOTD twice.
The 37th ed. has is at 165 in Unc and 175 in BU.
