This coin launched a ‘thousand ships’ in me
Designed for eternity, beauty of a lady never to be forgotten in history or in the future.
I first saw this Sestecius on the front cover of Female Caesars by Jacozi; the coin launched a ‘thousand ships’ in me. This coin first came from an Italian collection of such magnificent quality that makes this piece the finest known extant. When it came up for auction, it was just a single lot and I asked the auction house to buy at any price, not knowing how I was to pay.
