1965 Topps Mantle rejected by PSA as being "MISCUT"??????

Just received this card back from PSA. It was not graded because it is "MISCUT"???? Am I missing something? I did not expect a PSA 10----maybe a PSA 5 or PSA 6. But "miscut"---what? Thoughts?

It looks to me like the right edge in the back picture is completely curved. Hold a ruler against it and you can see a convex curve.

Same thing with the left side ... especially by the bat.

Definitely the sides. I have had two 1965 Topps baseball cards returned for the same reason, a curvelinear cut along the sides. No trimming involved, just a bad cut at the factory.

Sometimes PSA will grade the card as authentic. You might ask about that possibility.

Definitely miscut. You can see it on the left side on the front.

Yep its miscut my 57 Mantle recieved the same fate just last week.Have owned the card since about 1982 or so.They havent sent it back yet and I have to see it to believe it.Its probably my most favorite card of all time .I expected a 5 or 6 for sure.
I sure never noticed it to be miscut.

Definitely a miscut card. Unfortunately PSA got it right this time...

Yep, just had 2 '65 cards come back like that and also a '67 that wasn't nearly that obvious.
