    Cincy is way over matched.

I still can't believe Bama rolled Fla. like they did.

Yeah, still smarting over the Bama loss but I'm lovin' this game, a great way to send Tebow, Spikes & the rest of the most winning class in SEC histroy out in style. Jeff Demps will be fine & ready for the Orange & Blue game in April, no worries there. Very impressed with Denote Thompson, easily his best game of the year.

I do feel for the Cincy players, having been abondoned by their Brian Kelly. The annoucers were saying it'd be wise for NCAA to put in some type of rule so this can't happen and I agree with them.

Mantle- Most of the conversations I've had with other SEC guys lately about Florida can be boiled down to this-- Tebow carried this team on his back all year and when he's gone next year, the offense will have no playmakers left. Next year is going to be really interesting as Florida may go from having one of the best 2 year runs in the conference to being a 7-win team in 2010. I'm going to leave you with a quote from a friend of mine who played at Florida in the early 90's- "Who's going to score for them next year? Jeffrey Demps and Emmanual Moody couldn't break a tackle if thier life depended on it and none of Florida's starting wideouts would even get respectable playing time at Tennessee or Georgia, much less Alabama. I'm very concerned about 2010."

  • Yeah, no matter how you spin it replacing one of the greatest college football players of all time will be a challenge. However, John Brantley is a fine QB in his own right, more of a NFL style passer than Tebow's pass/rush combo.

And as far as your friend dumping on Demps & Moody....those are two of our finest players!! I really don't know what he's talking about - breaking tackels? All Day! Seriously, watch some tape, they're both excellent. And they'll only be better next year (Demps' arm will be fine).

And while I don't know what our record will be next year, I do know we'll have more than 7 wins. The only real challenge in the SEC East next year will be Georgia. As far the the SEC West, Bama of course will be strong, LSU is always in the mix, Ol' Miss missed their shot this year though if Snead comes back they might be contenders. My sleeper pick for the SEC West , and the whole SEC for that matter, is Mississipi State.

And as far as tonite is concerned, I hate to say it...but ROLL TIDE!!
