What would be your dream coin for 2010?

I would go with a Brasher Doubloon.

If somebody is considering marrying a coin perhaps they should get out more.

I think you need to add a bigamist to this option. One coin won't do.

A nice, original 1838-C Quarter Eagle in XF40 - AU50; preferably one without the planchet void on Liberty's cheek, as seen on this example:

    1838-C FUN Auction

Same coin, but better view of cheek planchet void:

    I'd like either a 1983 no S dime in a 69dcam or a 70 no s 68cam. Either would be nice.

It's not that I'm greedy, it's the hunt and find I get a rush from. A circulated 1969 DDO would be nice. A real nice find would be a group
of wheats that someone saved from when they were taped to packs of cigarettes from vending machines, with a few 1955 ddo's included. It's the hunt, the find, the coin.

    Happy New Year Everyone

Obtaining an 1822 Bust Dime would be my largest, slightly reasonable, accomplishment for 2010.
It would be very difficult, and I would need to save up for a long enough time, but I think I could pick one up.

This would then compromise my original goal to get 10 of the 20 Capped Bust Dimes or Quarters I need to finish each collection!

Later I open it up to find a small envelope, with "To Will, From Grandfather Merry Christmas 1861".....since Im making up 'the dream' lets say there are seven of them in the little envelope. All..fresh.....untouched.....never circulated 61Ds...

Same coin dream for 2010 as every year since 1975.... 1796 quarter, 1797 half dollar, 1798 small eagle $5, 1797 small eagle $10.

Reality, would be lucky to land one of the other early types needed, 1796 dime, any kind of 1793 copper, etc.

I have no specific dream coin.

I would just like to get a little closer to completing my Morgan collection...
Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
