Error Quarter?

I found this in some change yesterday. It looks to not have any clad on it from the little research i did. anyone have any clue about this or gotten any.

Its hard to tell from the pics but it looks to have the clad layer missing.

if it is a clad layer error is it worth keeping or just a common error.

Yes there would be a premium for it. See if their is any completed auctions on ebay to check for prices.

I see about 6 on there. all of them are only missing one side. not both like this one. Most the prices are buy it now from $150-$300 or so.

I know of only two quarters struck on planchets with both clad layers missing. Both were underweight, as would be expected. Your coin is either, discolored, plated, or a struck counterfeit. Many of the latter are extremely convincing.
