2010 Collecting Goal - 52 Topps Mantle PSA 3 or higher

With 3 closets full of cards, I have decided to consolidate my collection down to a few selected cards that I already own and to sell the rest to fund the purchase of a 1952 Topps Mantle in PSA 3 or higher. A recent search on eBay of completed auctions showed PSA 3 selling for about $6000, PSA 4 for $8000, and PSA 5 for about $10000. I think that I should be able to get to $6000, but $8000 would be a stretch.

My PayPal account currently has $650 in it, so I'm starting with 10% of my goal. While I'm not opposed to kicking in some non-card generated revenue to get me closer to my goal of $6000, I want to do it with cards as much as possible as the other goal is to reduce my inventory and get some closet space back.

I'll be updating the thread as I start selling things in February or so!

You may need to adjust your pricing a little bit....

Here are some recent sales:

PSA 2 for $6,256

PSA 3 for $8,000

But anyway good luck with achieving your goal and I'm sure you will be very happy with it after everything is said and done.
