Who needs a bowl win more than Ohio State to salvage something of their reputation?

I can't think of another team in more desperate need of a bowl win this season.

ND has been a non factor in college football for so long I don't think they have a reputation to salvage
    anymore.

I do believe the entire Big 10 also shares that distinction, not just the Suckeyes.

For all of the crap that OSU takes they were by no means embarrassed last year by Texas. They simply left McCoy too much time. The Buckeye should have knelt at the 1.

Thank goodness the Buckeyes get to play that team up North each year. Do they get reputation points for winning every year? Actually all teams have periods of dissapointment and periods of elation. That fellow from up there makes a good point that Ohio State could use a victory after 3 dissapointments. Remember the Buckeyes were heavy underdogs in 2 of those games as they are this year. Although favorites against Florida, after the opening kick return it was obvious Florida was by far the better team. The Bucks will be back on top as will you know who once they get Harbaugh as coach.

Not really, that is just an interleague thing like Auburn-Alabama, on a national stage the string of bowl defeats
in recent years is embarassing for OSU.

Oregon is not even slightly overrated...

The Ohio State game plan worked... time of posession tells the story.

Give credit to both teams- they were both well coached.

PAC 10 was overrated. Did they beat anyone in a bowl game besides BC and Temple?
