consecutive serial numbers on silver bars

picked up 2 old pour 10 oz. Engelhards on ebay on two different auctions (same seller though). got them today and just noticed the serial numbers are in sequence. Not earth shattering but cool none the less

    That is cool. At first I thought the digits were different, but I think one's just struck harder.

    I'm close, but no cigar on the same 10 oz poured engelhards:

    That happened to me last week. I bought these from the same seller when cashback was 12%, almost got 3 in a row - he emailed and asked if I wanted more, and how many. Must have a pretty good stash.
