I use to deal in vintage tube audio receivers. Many times the oak veneer cabinate (far from being anything fancy) would sell for more than the receiver in good condition. They used to pay several hundred dollars for them. Maybe this is kind of like that.

Funny thing is...

I like the boxes.

I cannot remember exactly why, but I was in a position last year where I had a Buffalo 2007 Proof in a capsule, but no box.

I purchased a box from someone on the BST forum for $50. They probably thought I was nuts. I want my OCD Original Mint Packaging boxes to all match as much as possible. Fake mahogany veneer all around!


But $500?!? Perhaps I should sell my boxes?
