Got some sweet PSA/DNA poppage
Had some items pop from the November $10 PSA/DNA blue flip special:
83078811 TRADING CARD GERALD FORD Authentic
83078826 PHOTOGRAPH MUAMMAR GHADAFFI Authentic
83078812 TRADING CARD GERALD FORD Authentic
83078813 CUT RICHARD NIXON Authentic
83078809 CHECK RICHARD NIXON Authentic
83078810 CHECK RICHARD NIXON Authentic
83078827 CUT LORD ALFRED TENNYSON No Grade/Voucher
I'll post some pics once they come back. The Lord Alfred Tennyson was a very tiny signature cut. I don't know why it wasn't slabbed but at least I'll get a voucher for it. It may have been too small to slab so I might glue it to an index card and send it back in. I think I've got some pics of at least 5 of the items before I sent them in, I'll check and if I do I'll post a few shots. Some neat stuff.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

It varies but a couple sold in 08 for $2040 and $1854. One sold in 2005 for $1302
Mine are not actual checks, but rather "mock checks". PSA mislabeled them accidently despite me putting "Mock Check" on the description. I make them out of authentic Richard Nixon signed book pages, kind of like the guys who make the custom cards, I make custom typescripts out of authentic autographed pages. I'm pretty good at it and that has been my niche in the autograph market for several years now.
When I sell the "Mock checks", I always label them as such so it doesn't really matter that PSA mislabeled them. I'll sell them as "Mock Checks". The price I get for them varies as widely as it does for the real checks. I've sold them for as low as $200 in an ebay auction (never again, I learned my lesson that ebay is a bad venue for the auction format on that type of item), up to about $1000 in large nationwide catalog auctions. Typically, my "mock checks" go for around $450-700 depending on how badly someone wants them and how badly I want to sell them. Here's the two most recent that I'll have coming back slabbed.
Sweet!
