Criteria for including a card in the registry

Hi everyone,
I have a collector whose looking to buy some graded Barry Colla postcards from me, but he's worried that PSA might not include them in the Mattingly master set. The postcards are from Mattingly's playing days, so I can't imagine what the problem would be, but the prospective buyer called PSA and apparently they want scans of the front and back of each postcard sent over before the decide whether to include them. Does this make any sense at all? Is there some little-known criteria for set registry inclusion that I don't know about?

Its been said already, but I do know PSA graded these at one point. I can't imagine why they would have stopped. One thing I would point out is that Barry Colla makes (made) cards in two different sizes. What I've seen called "postcards", I know PSA grades these. They also made a lot of taller, narrower cards that I've seen referred to as "bookmarks" or "test issues". I do not know of any of these sized Barry Colla that have been graded. Perhaps PSA wants pictures just to verify which size Barry Colla that your Mattingly is and perhaps they don't grade the tall, narrow ones.
Also, here is Mattingly "postcard" size that is graded and on Ebay currently- 220531494515

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the response. I know PSA grades these (that's my Mattingly, incidentally), but apparently PSA wants a scan of the card's back before they'll make a decision on whether to include it in the Mattingly master. That, to me, seems like a needless step, but I wanted to see if others have also experienced this.
