Picked up this nice SP card. any thoughts on grade?

    I'd say about a 4. Is that paper loss on the bottom of the rear of the card? IS that a crease on the left side of the rear between "ST." and "Born"? If so, could knock it lower. Not familiar with that set, but do all of them have colors that have bled thru to the back?

    This being said, it's still going to be a real nice looking card for the grade. ENJOY.

    No creases ( unless PSA finds that mysterious paper wrinkle that none of us ever see!!)----typical bleed on the most of the ones i have owned in the past. No paper loss--- Only issue on the card is corners. reason why i brought it up is there is a huge price difference between a 5-$375 and a 6-$600.

    Hi Marc,

    Looking at the 2 graded examples below, I'd have to say the Blaeholder is a solid 3 anyday; a 4 on a good day; and a 5 on a great day.

    The corners are the bandits in this case.

    Marc, I hope I am wrong, but I don't think that card has a shot at a "6". Like I said before, I would think in the "4" range. GOOD LUCK!

    Based on looking at the only one that I own, I'd agree with the others and say that a PSA4/SGC50 sounds about right.

    Good luck with your sub though - I hope that you pull a 5 or even a 6 with it! Nice card!

    I'd say a 4 also. It would have to be your luck day for a 6.

    Is that SMR or VCP? By the time it's graded you are into it for ~$70.00. If $190.00 is VCP you made a GREAT deal. If it's SMR then you should make a few bucks. Either way, if it gets a "4" it's going to be a nice looking card for the grade. ENJOY!
