Fist is a 1806 Soho mint Gilt Halfpenny in PF64 Cam, in hand it looks much nicer than the grade would suggest. This one appears to be P-1362 which is one of the more common vrities for the date, but an original Soho piece and not a restrike.
And an 1871 Bavaria Taler commemorating victory in the war against France.

If it was done after being minted, does PCGS still grade pieces which have been gilded outside the mint?
It's a beautiful piece, but I am just curious. Still learning.

<= My avatar is the gilt farthing. They're lovely coins in hand and when you consider the date that they were struck, their design and the attention to detail used they are quite exquisite IMHO.
