In 1977, Brylcreem, a famous brand of men’s hair-care cream, produced a hard cardboard display ad with a stand-up easel. The ad showed a bust shot of Mickey in coat and tie promoting a free World Series Fact Book with the purchase of a tube of Brylcreem. Three grand prizes were also given away. The first Grand Prize was four season box tickets for all home games of your favorite major league team. Mantle appeared on the front cover of the booklet.

    Hi Neil,

I've found that booklets like the '77 Brylcreem/Mantle really don't carry as much value as one would think. I'd guess somewhere in the $5 to $15 range at best even in nrmt/mt condition.

If you had the cardboard display ad and coupled it with the booklet, that might help obtain more interest. Having a jar or tube of the Brylcreem from that era would also be an extra.
