Little Help on this Clemente autograph

Hello,
I'm considering buying this autograph of Roberto Clemente. I think it's good, but would love those with more expertise than I to give me their opinion.
Someone took a pencil over it after Roberto signed the card.
Thanks!
MERRY CHRISTMAS

Why isn't it in a PSA/DNA or similar slab? That would be my question.

Maybe you could get a quick opinion?

I'm sure someone here has the expertise (I don't) hopefully

    they will have good news.

    Good for you.

Traced at best, unless it was almost free I wouldn't touch it. I also wouldn't touch it to keep, only if I thought I could flip it. Not very attractive at all.

The tracing ruined the signature completely IMO, So (to me) It wouldnt matter if it WAS authentic.

I would say it's the other way around. he probably signed it in pencil and was traced over in ink later

    My thoughts exactly.

That card will never make it in a slab, but if it is cheap enough, it would be a nice addition to a collection.
