My favorite nurse gave me a numsimatic gift for the holidays

I received two very interesting gifts from my favorite nurse. (I can say that publicly because I have told everyone, including her and the other nurses, that she is my favorite
).
One was a handcrafted cement disc about the size of a dinner plate, an inch or so thick, with inlaid colored glass designed to be a representation of the Steelers logo. This is to be placed outside to be used as a garden stone. I cannot wait until my wife sees it.
The other was a gold token/medal that, upon first glance, looks like a 1 oz. gold AGE. However, it clearly weighs less than gold, the finish is proof-like, there is no date on the obverse, and there is no mention of the denomination or metallic content on the reverse.
I told her that I loved both gifts but did not have the heart to tell her that the while the non-numismatic gift will be cherished by generations, the numismatic gift was not something that I would have chosen. I might just keep it on my desk at work to remind me of gold coins and of her status as my favorite nurse.

<< <i>Cool gifts! If you keep the coin gift on your desk, hopefully the Senior Executive Chief of Radiology does not come into your office during a conference call about a patient and put his grubby paws all over the proof-like finish.
The coin is already in a plastic capsule--she thinks of everything.
Besides, I am the Chief of Radiology (aka The Man, in your world), and I will put my paws all over any coin in the department if I wish.

Sounds kind of like a millstone tied 'round the neck of the team.

I bet you can. And shortly, it will be the only place you'll see the Steelers until next fall!
Congratulations 50% approval ratings on underling/coworker gifts is pretty good.
