Subject: education for village women
Has anybody here handled Nepalese coins with any frequency? This coin seems to be poorly struck with detail faded drastically near the center of the reverse and several of the reverse denticles malformed or unformed with only faint raised marks where they should be. The piece is very lustrous and shows no signs of wear, so I assume this coin has striking issues. Is this common for Nepalese coins or this specific issue?
