Some dealers / sellers need instructions on the proper way to ship cards

I just needed a forum to vent a little. Normally I only buy graded cards (unless in person), but recently I started to buy raw again. Some from ebay, some from other websites mostly from sellers with high or perfect feedback or at least a solid reputation from past dealings at shows. All the graded cards were shipped properly - boxed, or bubble mailer no problems. Today's mail day though was one that really got me thinking: Do people know how to ship raw cards anymore?
Two packages today and 3 of the last 4 cards raw cards that I purchased arrived in a plain white envelope with the card between 2 pieces of cardboard with no penny soft sleve in a top loader. At least the cards started out in the top loader. Another arrived in a bubble mailer in a top loader, again no penny sleve, and for added protection a second top loader along side of the first in a team bag. I wonder if "free shipping" has started to mean "poor shipping".
Since this happened to me, and at the time I was very angry, but in the hoilday spirt, I decided to mail out 100 count bags of the penny sleves to the sellers with a little note stating that as a holiday gift from a former customer, I wanted them to have the necessary supplies to stay in business and to not ruin anymore cards. Hopefully they get the message. PS - I left the .35 cent price tag on the bags to illistrate how little it would have taken to keep a customer.
Has anyone else had poor shipping experiences recently?
Thanks for letting me vent. Happy Holidays.
