Crossover results...

FWIW: I thought I'd crossover all of my misc GAI/SGC/BVG cards and cross them over to PSA. I have damaged crackouts before and didn't want to risk replicating my previous disasters. The GAI cards were all of the "silver" flip variety, not the new style. The results were not too bad:

Line # Item # Cert # Grade Description
1 1 16273631 NEAR MINT+ 7.5 1962 TOPPS 243 ROBIN ROBERTS was GAI 8

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all "right-thinking" people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as “bad luck.”

They just didn't want to crack it out because they were afraid to damage the card and have to compensate you for it.

I hope that's not the case - I have a Jordan rookie I am looking to crossover, and I sure as hell don't want to use welding equipment to get it out.
Looking for rare Randy Moss rookies and autos, as well as '97 PMG Red Football cards for my set.

I don't think I've ever seen a crossover get a bump up, always even or a bump down.

I bet a router table with a fence would work well too.

Did you place minimum grades on some and not on others? I see you have some that went down a grade, some min. size, authentic etc.

  • Min grades were all set at 1 grade lower than the original slab grade except the 71 milk duds Mays set at AUTH. In retrospect, that one should have been cracked and submitted on the $5 special.
