Milton Bradley to the Mariners

Good luck Seattle fans....hopefully a smaller market will suit him better.

The Cubs had to take on a big contract in exchange, but that's life.

Remember these Chuck Norris Facts

1. When Chuck Norris does a pushup, he isn't lifting himself up, he's pushing the Earth down
2. According to Einstein's theory of relativity, Chuck Norris can actually roundhouse kick you yesterday
3. There are no such things as lesbians, just women who have not yet met Chuck Norris

  • Damn. Just when I thought the M's might have a shot at the division. Not that I'm a M's fan, but I do like to see the smaller market teams rise up and experience success. The only good news here is that the M's have very little $ in Bradley, so it'll be easy for them to simply release him should he...excuse me, WHEN he acts up.

I live in the Seattle area, and I gotta say, the M's got the better end of this deal. Maybe Mr Monopoly, I mean Milton, will behave in a more laid back environment where the fans are overly critical of every move. As for the Cubs...well, Silva is gonna back on more weight eating that Chicago style pizza, that's for sure!

Another great deal for the M's. I would have traded Carlos Silva for a new jock strap.

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.
  • Monopoly is Parker Brothers...... congrats to both teams for taking dumps on each other. Wish the Tigers could find some suckers. we got about $70mil worth of garbage... Anyone want a wild, $10mil injury prone guy with a gaping grin and anxiety issues? we need a backup tarp roller.... come catch the d-train.... or a useless pair in Bonderman/Robertson? only $20mil, come on! we'll give you all 3 deadbeats for said roller, a hot dog and some varnish for the bench they will occupy.....

At his age, do you guys really think Milton can still run? Do you think The Mariners will allow
    him to keep his beard?

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Bradley is such a cancer, the Cubs would have traded him for one of your used straps. Don't hold out high hope, but then maybe he'll suddenly turn into an acceptable human being. Hope your manage is the kind of guy that won't coddle his a$$ and allow him to disrupt the team like he did in Wrigleyville.

Good luck to the Mariners, this guy puts up numbers as bad as his freakin attitude image
  • There will always be one GM/owner/head scout who is convinced that they can somehow fix the train wreck...or prevent it. And when they fail, they will be another one next year.

It looks like NO market will suit him. What a disaster.

A GM taking on Milton Bradley is like the woman who thinks she is the one who can "change" the bad boy.
