Got Grades today 2-3-10

I sent in 5 of the group plus a bermuda crown. The Canadian half was sent in a different tier due to its value. It came back a VF-20 as stated in an earlier thread.

the Peso from Chile is decent-

The 8R form Peru could be worthy but the picture is alittle dark.

I see these two as the best others- these may do okay if sold raw if you see the right folks

I do not know why my post did not post, but I also said that the Chilean Peso has the best bet. -Dan

Did you decide on what to submit?

All of those coins could be worthy of submission. The Sardinian 5 lire crown (center coin) could go XF, meaning it's worth more than $100. Ditto on the Chile peso and the South Peru 8R. The 1815 Brazil 960 reis could go XF, making it a $50-100 coin as well. And the Hong Kong coin would be a good choice if it's uncirculated.

I submitted all except except the bottom four. The reis had a slight cup to it that I did not notice at first. I was thinking about the HK and Spanish piece since they are both uncs. I may do the HK piece in a future submission. I think it will go 65.

From the image I would have expected the 1903 50C U.S. PHIL to have received an AU53/55, but maybe I didn't catch something they saw.

I thought it was AU as well. The coin is picture perfect to me. The value in AU does not even suggest grading but i had this one done just because i really like the coin
