I don't know how he can seriously argue that:

    The USFed is insolvent

The Fed may have a lot of garbage assets on its books, but it's most definitely not insolvent. The Fed can conjure money into existence, as it did at the beginning of the financial crisis when it bought most of these garbage assets.

    More gloom and doom......

What we have here, is Bernake named as Time Magazine's Man of the Year for aledgedly saving the economy, and Obama awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for saving the world sometime in the future.

Perception is everything, or maybe not?

Jim Willie doesn't think that we should be particularly happy with the shenanigans that appear to be going on all around us. Should we be? He tends to believe that it's going to come back around to bite us in the hind end. I tend to agree with him.

Jim Sinclair calls it "Managment of Perception Economics". Isn't that what all of this is about? We are in debt up to our eyeballs and dufus-brain says we need to spend our way out of this mess?

I mean, come on! This is like eighth grade when I dumped Becky ***** because she was a bi*ch, and almost everyone else thought that she was hip. I saw her at a reunion last year and she hasn't changed, and all I can say is that I was lucky that I called it when I did. Who needs that kind of crap?image

You have to be able to see reality instead of what you wish it was or think it ought to be.
