What is a fair price on a PCGS slabbed MS-65 common date British sovereign?

I think I may have caught the "sovereign bug", but am not familiar with pricing on them above bullion value. I am looking at a George V one (common date and mint) and would appreciate any help

Not really an established home market for TPG coins, let alone MS65s. Therefore the price on this side of "the pond" would be dependent on an American sub-market. 1925 is the date that most often appears from the London mint, and IMO the price should NOT be in excess of 400-450 USD. I like the gems, but you might try the proof George V 1911 which can be had for another 100-150 and can be found in cameo, actually about 40% the price of the George VI 1937 piece.

I found a very nice looking MS-61 1911-C sovereign this last weekend at a coin show. Got it for about $10 over spot. I am thinking of putting a sovereign mint set together. At least I have the Ottawa Mint (RCM) covered at this point. The MS-65 is a London Mint coin. Based on your input, I'll probably do a bit more looking around and research. Much thx!!!

Yes, although I do not have any for sale and am a collector, you can PM me with questions. My strengths are probably silver and copper but love the gold as well.
