Completed a Swiss Set

Ok, it's an easy set, and it's modern, but I finished something. The last one needed for my set of Early Swiss Commems (1936-1948) was the 600th Anniversary of the Battle of Laupen. Fought in 1339 this battle pitted Bern and its allies against the Hapsburgs and their Burgundian allies. While outnumbered 2:1 Bern and its allies prevailed. The battle also marked the first use of the Swiss Cross. This one in NGC 65.

Great looking coin. For a contemporary 20th century piece it is pretty pricey - any specific reason?

The lowest mintage of the early commems, around 30,000 I think. Most of the set are available in the $75-150 range, but the Laupen sets you back 3-4 times that amount.

Always liked this set, congrats. The Laupen is worth more than all the 5 others together. I once bought the entire set in BU, housed in a cool custom made Capitol case but resold it as such before getting into it.
