Could this possibly be a sign of shill bidding?

I'm certainly not making any accusations, but I was watching this coin and was shocked to see the price more than doubled to a price which seems too high for the coin. So I examined the bid history and noticed this one person bidding incrementally, one bid after the other until the price was increased by some $1,000+. I don't know what you look for when looking for shills, but could this be an example? link
Digressing, I guess it's also possible I'm out of the loop on early copper!

though-with a price like that I must assume somebody saw something about it...

high percentages... so i would tend to think it is pretty goofy and avoid
the auction.
nothing definitive.. but i sure do not like the smell of it.
bid was at near $700 with 45 min left in auction
guy likes what he sees
bids 1150, 1450, 1650, 1850
decides that is enough and walks away
do you think this was the shill or the winning bidder -
who bid over $1900 once with over 3 hrs to close?
<< <i>he has at least a couple of bidders in that one auction who bid a lot on his stuff. >>
There are a couple of ebay sellers who get a lot of bids from me.
Does that make me a shill?
Or do they happen to have the type and quality of coins I want to buy?
