Yugoslavia doubled die

I'd like to know what Krause or whomever might say about this one provided they even know about it, much less care. Any important details, such as composition, mint, mintages (whatever you can provide). Thank you.

  • Thanks Don. I always wanted to find a '72 DDO but tell ya the truth I thought it would come in a Lincoln Cent, not something like this. image

  • Thank you. Now that we got the vital statistics out of the way, I'll ask the more fascinating question. What's the world market like for a strong doubled die in one of these? I'll bet it's real hot. image

Well, it has been my experience that it brings little premium, specially on this coin.... of course you find the right buyer and you may be on to something. I have also found that World coins seem to have more double dies than the US coins... quality control maybe?
