$68.5 Face in 1/2 Dollars
I've got 137 modern (1970 - current) 1/2 dollars that I'd like to sell to a good home (NOT SILVER).
Most of them are in circulated condition, but there are some that look like really nice examples (MS 60+) and a few common error coins.
The years and conditions vary.
I'd like to sell them for face value to someone who is interested in these AND would be fair with the pricing of the coins once they had them in hand.
Once you have them in hand and if there are any that are worth more than face, you could just send me the extra cash.
I'll sell them for $77 shipped within the US, with payment by MO. ($80 if paying by PayPal).

I assume you're joking....
Even if they were all MS60 coins, the PCGS price guide only has them at $6 each. So even in PCGS slabs they'd only be worth about 3 dollars - and that's slabbed!

I truly hope this is a joke...
IJ, that's including S/H & time.
I don't think $8.50 is too out of line for that, though I think they could all fit in a flat rate Priority small box & ship it with delivery conf. for $4.80 (online).
If these were really decent coins, there are some 'tough' (relatively speaking) Kennedy dates that you may just find in there.
Maybe put together a nice set for a YN in the family for the holidays at near face value. Silvers would have to be purchased separately.
I do think it's asking a bit much to expect any cash in return as the buyer would be spending some time searching through the bunch.
Time = money.
In other words, the time involved searching through the bunch should offset any 'extra cash' for the seller.

I can see where your coming from. But at the same time why pay over face value for something you can get by simply going to the bank? (or maybe more than one local bank depending on if they have half dollars available). Also, going to the bank offers the possibility of getting silver too, not just already picked through clad.
See above....Time = Money.
Though the possibility of finding some silver is always there, after the silver spike earlier, IMO chances are pretty slim for finding pre-'70 Kennedy's.
Personally, though I haven't asked at too many bank, finding any Kennedy's at the banks is getting harder.
OK, that's it for me...too many bumps for this thread.
'Night everyone.

I agree with you, but neither is selling something for a set price and having the cojones to ask for more money from the buyer if the item turns out to be worth more. The OP has to be playing a joke on us.
