Kobe Bryant Highest Points per game Tix - value question

Hello,

I happened to attend the Lakers vs. Raptors game where Kobe scored the NBA record most points in a game 80+ or somthing.

Anyway, I kept the ticket stubs in an envelope since then (I would grade them pretty close to MINT) PSA 8/9 maybe? (I am basing this off of my old days of baseball card collecting growing up)

I was wondering if these are selling for any real money, and what type of premium there would be if they were PSA encapsulated?

Can anyone help me out with a value and a value if encapsulated? Thanks.

I normally hang out on the coin forums.

  • Isn't the NBA record for points in a game 100 by Wilt Chamberlain?

Kobe's was impressive, but it certainly wasn't the record.

It's the second highest point total in a game by a player.

I have no idea what they're selling for, nor do I know whether grading it would be worthwhile.

My hunch is that a lot of the potential buyers for this would prefer it raw for display purposes. It's the kind of item that would likely get framed with a signed photo.

As a sucker for pretty much anything, I've purchased and sold a lot of used tickets and find that raw (for recent events) sell great. I don't see the value of grading being recovered on many modern tickets.

I can't find any prices for tickets sold in the past. If you had a price in mind I may be interested...
I am buying and trading for RC's of Wilt Chamberlain, George Mikan, Bill Russell, Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, and Bob Cousy!

Here's a FULL ticket from the game that sold for $53. I would think a stub would be worth $15 to $25.
