Thought I'd make a holiday offer to folks here on the Dark Side of the forum.
Normally, I charge $11 per coin, but for folks here on the Dark Side, a holiday special of $8 per coin (plus return shipping and insurance).
You can see my most recent samples of my work at this link. Click on any thumbnail to pop up a higher-resolution version of each coin face.
Now, what do you get for the money?
1. Original unadulterated high-resolution JPEGs from the camera, unmodified.
2. High resolution, tweaked image (rotation, contrast, brightness, fully masked). You get a PSD file that includes the coin alone on a transparent layer, along with background layers in white, light gray, dark gray, and black. That way, if you have Photoshop, you can simply load the file, change the visible background layer, resize it and generate a fresh image. Since some coins look better on lighter versus darker backgrounds, this gives you the flexibility to create new web images without having to repurpose anything.
3. 800x800 proof image in your choice of the above background colors (these are essentially the full-sized images seen at my site above). If you would prefer a different-sized proof/low-res image (600x600, 1000x1000, etc.) that is no problem at all.
What you get is finished product, ready to display online; the exact image style that you see displayed on my site.
I make the proof images available for your approval online before sending the coins back. You get a DVD with all of the images on it.
If you want full-slab images as well, those are an additional $5 per coin for centered, cropped images, both high-res and low-res.
I try to turn these around as quickly as possible (depending on the number of coins sent); my goal is to have your coins in my possession for no more than 2-3 days.
References from board members are available. Yell if you have questions!
