1991-1992 Tonys Pizza
I havent uncovered a lot of info on this one. I remember having some of these at one time. They are a little more difficult to get and in better condition since I dont believe they were packed as "moisture proof" as the following year. If I remember, the set had 120 cards in it and you got 2 per pack I believe and I think that all cards were available nation wide. The commons usually go for under a quarter or less in bulk, some stars can go for a buck or so and the Jordan raw usually goes in the $10-$20 range. I have heard that PSA 9's are difficult from this set, much less 10's, mainly due to how they were packaged.
1992-1993 Tonys Pizza
The set actually has two "series" to it. The first series is of the average joe, with a few semi stars mixed in. These were distributed nationally (1 pack per pizza box) and are widely available from online sites like sportlots for 18 cents each. The came in non transparent wrap that included 3 cards I believe, including one special offer card where you could send in a handful of them and $5.99 and get a free NBA cap.
The second "series" was also distributed at the same time, but only in select areas. Some of these packs (ie Pizza Boxes) made their way outside the intended areas, either accidentally or intentionally since I opened (ate) some of those and got a few packs and pulled some second "series" cards. Those cards had the better star cards, including the slam dunk stars subset, which contained the Shaquille O'Neal and Michael Jordan cards which book in the are of $10 and $25 respectively, although both can be had regularly for single digits if you look for bargains.
