    CA-CHING!!

Where in the world did you get them?
A checklist in PSA 10? Unheard of!
An Orr in 9 isn't too shabby either!
    Perreault is another huge one!
Pretty bad when a PSA 9 Bobby Hull is the "runt" of the litter!

If these are upgrades for your set and you want to move the one's you are replacing LMK. Congrats, STEVE.

    Edited to add:

  • Only recorded sale of the Howe in PSA 10 according to VCP is $1350.55

Edit: The only PSA 9 on the CL was $579.95
  • Anybody who knows i've been build ing my 1970 Topps set for a few years. In some cases i have owned every 9 of certain players and have kept the best one. I should mention that
this was a review. Cards were already graded PSA 9's. So the Howe and the checklist bumped to 10's. I honestly thought the Orr had a better shot at a 10 then the Howe or checklist. With the
half price on reviews i decided it was time to send them in. I have 57 others on the other sub that i thought are worthy of bumping. I looked over cards 3 times before making the cut.
    Well off to the dentist.

  • When the checklist was a pop of 2 in PSA 9 i seen it go for over 1200.00. I know this because i got outbid back then. That was a few years ago.

Seeing a post like this I kinda miss my old set. GPA was in the 8.4+ range, it was #1 for a time, in fact some of mine may be in your set by now. There were quite a few low pops in my set at the time.

    Nice bumps! image

  • Thanks guys !! Hopefully a few more bumps are coming. I really hope they put a note on the Orr because that's the one i was expecting to bump. Hope it's not because of the printer's line going down the card because that's on every card ever printed. Under my mag i could not find wear on any of the corners front or back.
Anyways i'm very happy to say the least. Going to be sending more cards to get graded from this year in my next submission. I just purchased another complete set as well. Haven't recieved it yet but i'm sure i'll find some cards in that one as well.
The Orr that sold for 3299.99 in PSA 9 is the one i sold. That was another one of my Orr's i had gotten graded. It sold for so much because everybody wanted to be #1 back then. Even though
i have 9's i still upgrade my 9's to better 9's. Centering being #1 then printing defects etc..
    Cheers, Steve

  • By the way there a complete PSA 8 set on e-bay if you ever wanted to get this set again. 2500.00 is a very fair price. I helped him come up with the price. Told him not to take less then that
otherwise he is giving it away. Every card is PSA 8 with no qualifiers. If you subtract the Orr, Howe, Checklist, Perreault Rc, Park Rc, Hull you are basically giving the other cards away for what it costs
in grading fees on a 5.00 dollar special.
