Picked myself up a "WinPitcher style" PSA graded card

Winpitcher taught me that all grades are not created equal, a lower grade with better centering gets a true grade, and not an o/c 8 that is a 6, etc. I am sure he can elaborate, but when I saw this, I couldn't pass it up, it made me think of his words of wisdom. Although it is a hair o/c top to bottom....Thanks ALOT Steve image

Great eye appeal for the grade ... I have always said that I'd prefer a centered card with bad corners over one with good corners and bad centering.

I know this next one kills the thread, but at 50% of VCP I had to do it, this card is notorious for terrible centering, this is one I can live with... for now

  • Great cards, I don't mind the centering on that Loes, I'd be more than happy with it. image

To me there is more than centering for eye appeal. Good color, white borders and fresh gloss to me can make a card overcome it's centering issues within certain limits.

    Hi everyone,

I just started this set and picked up a couple with the Bing 20% that I think are nice for the grade. I can't for the life of me figure out why they aren't 7s??

    love the 53's! Very nice

Those 53's sure are sweet. My guess is that they have slight touches on a corner to go along with the touch we can see on

the one corner. Those are true EX/MNT cards, that would not be out of place in a 7.5 slab.

my red back Loes, got it in a trade many years ago, just had it graded was hoping for a 6.
