I just got a call from a private number. A woman on it asked for Greg. I told her there wasn't a Greg here. She mentioned eBay and I was like, wait, what?
Apparently some guy named Gregorian decided he should use an address in Nevada and my cell number for his contact information. He bid on this woman's item, and she called me because she was suspicious.
I called eBay, and apparently all they can do is send a notice to this guy telling him to change his phone number. But how many calls am I going to receive from angry eBayers before he does (IF he does)?
Also, could this be some kind of scam? I'm not really sure how it would work, but it's possible....
