Went Saturday to meet someone to pick up a previous purchase. Not much there that I was looking for and what I found was overpriced. Picked up a couple of items for some of the Secret Santa groups I'm involved in and I did manage to find one item that I've been searching for in high grade and this one meets the standard and then some . . .
Didn't go to Valley Forge this weekend, they were away at Holy Name....my son's JV team lost and so did the varsity....OOPS...you didn't mean Valley Forge High School did you??
"I went today. Got there around 1:30 vendors were already packing up and complaining how slow it was."
IOW, no different (the complaining, that is) than any other show. Hey dealer-man, maybe if you didn't pack up and leave halfway through one of the show days, it wouldn't be so slow. That and your sour attitude.

Buying Vintage, all sports. Buying Woody Hayes, Les Horvath, Vic Janowicz, and Jesse Owens autographed items
Dont worry, it was evern pretty dead on Saturday as well.
Dont know what it is, about the show anymore. Speaking with a couple dealers the last couple shows they said business had picked up quite a bit since the show was moved here from the Reading area. I just wish it was still in Ft. Washington. At least there we didnt have to compete with other conventions for parking 1/2 a mile away. At least this week there wasnt another show at the center.
Seems most dealers just bring things to show off from their upcoming auctions and little else. What the do have then is much more overpriced then what you could get the same cards on EBAY for.
